Hey Every"Bodhi"...It's My Birthday

March 14th we celebrated Bodhi's first birthday a few days early. It was a family and friends get together at Bodhi's Aunt and Uncle's house.

Bodhi has a great little "Godfather" look that we are madly in love with. I think we will make him the leader of the Portuguese Mafia (ok...he's not Portuguese....but whatever).

AMGEN Tour

Ok....so this was a weird experience. We gave some thought to attending the gathering for the end of the AMGEN tour leg in Clovis....but decided that we were just not that into it. But, as it turns out....the very next day, the next leg kicked off in Visalia and came directly pst David's work. I was off that day and so Dave called me to bring some lunch for us and chill at the end of the road to watch the tour go by. Race officials closed Kansas Ave., but I was able to get in and we made an unexpected memory for our scrapbook.

It was really cool...and way faster than we were expecting. And, despite our better efforts, we simply could not spot Lance Armstrong in the pack..... see if you can find him.

Birthday Girl

We celebrated Sarah's birthday with a trip to her favorite dinner spot...T.G.I. Fridays!!!! The entire Borges clan joined us for dinner and all had a great time. It's hard to believe Sarah Bearah is 9 already!!

DISNEYLAND

Well, we finally got that trip I was too sick to take at Christmas in. Disneyland on a Wednesday Freakin' ROCKS!!! We went straight to "Pirates" (our favorite ride!) and literally walked right on and had our own boat! It was awesome, and of course we came back for a second round later.

It was a super fun day. No waiting in line. Plenty of sunshine, but not too hot. And lots of photo ops.

I am almost sure David has never really been to Disneyland before because he had never done almost EVERYTHING we did. (He has actually been there...just never really gotten to do much).

I had such an amazing time showing him all the stuff he has been missing. He had the time of his life. Neither one of can wait to go back again.

Thank goodness we got those "2fer" tickets and we will be back later this month to explore California Adventures (David is gonna love the Tower of Terror...lol).

Superbowl

What I love about Hanford..........(big trucks).........all showed up at our house for a big superbowl party.

We ordered a crap load of food....(btw....those giant fat alberts pizza are HUGE....) and everyone dug right in.
The seating was a little tight....but no one seemed to mind nearly as much as the crap HD reception we couldn't make last. Next time Belo....we promise...even if we have to Bobby on the roof holding his hands up :)

Carlo and David are HUGE fans of the meetballs....teehee...we always make sure to have plenty.
