365!!!!!!!!!

For our 1 year anniversary, David and I did what we did on the first day....we went to the Clovis Rodeo with the Borgeses. Very cool thing to do to celebrate. (even if I did fall down walking across the street...lol)

After the Rodeo, David and I went out for Teppan Yaki in Visalia. We had a late dinner, so by the time we got there, the dinner crowd was long gone. We had a table to ourselves and our own personal chef (you don't get that chance very often). We had a great time and a very special day. I love you monkey fiance!!!

We're Engaged!!!!!!!!!!

Perfect!

A surprise birthday party for me, with our family and friends, turned out to really be an engagement party. David could not have done more perfectly. He worked so hard for so long to keep that secret! I am so very blessed indeed! I love you monokey! :)

Anniversary Surprise

More portuguese fun to be had here. They do LOVE the surprise party!!! This one was for John and Cidalia Santos' 35th wedding anniversary. We had an awesome time with all of the cousins...and as usual....danced our little booties off. (See video below)

85 and Going Strong

My maternal grandmother turned 85 this month. A family picnic in the park was planned to celebrate the event.

Four of her five daughters were able to make the event. We missed Denise, but it was nice to have all of the others there.I told David I had one goal of getting a family photo that day....and I did manage to get this one. If I had it to do over, I would step out from behind Sarah and have Bodhi more visible.... but at least it is something,

Overall, there were quite a few attendees. I am glad the Bishop family were able to attend to. That was nice. Funny though, I am not sure how the family suddenly included so many babies. Oh well, maybe more on the way soon.

Overall it was a good event and people seemed to have a good time (thanks to Dad who brought the five-in-one game kit and some kites....lucky we had wind though). Our kids are loving playing with the stuff everyday at home (thanks Dad....you rock!!!!).

Callie Takes Communion

What an awesome day! Callie took her first communion!!! Lots of family present to enjoy her day and a truly beautiful ceremony.

The Borges family was out in force. A good opportunity for picture taking.

Mama Chris looked absolutely gorgeous and T. David was so proud of his little niece. Of course Ava was THRILLED!!

Opening Day

I LOVE baseball.....So...David and the kids took me to Opening Day for the Fresno Grizzlies. It was a great game (despite the loss) and the fireworks show afterward was one of the best we have seen. We had a great time and are looking forward to another game later this week.
